Self-adhesive products are made up of three components: facestock, adhesive and release liner. Each plays a key role at a specific moment in a label’s life. The facestock is the part that remains visible and that determines print quality; the adhesive is essential to adhesion to the product; and the liner, protects the adhesive and allows for high-speed die-cutting or matrix stripping.
